THE MOST POPULAR BARBERA FROM PIEDMONT

Chiarlo, along with consulting enologist Giulano Noe, are partly responsible for this renaissance in quality for the barbera grape. They were the pioneers that helped drive the formation of the Nizza DOCG in 2014, putting in place regulations that restricted yields to the lowest in Piedmont. This is all to help create a sub-region where GREAT barbera can be made and recognized as such.

Barbera is a fantastic choice for a holiday wine as it’s food friendly and forgiving on the palate. Chiarlo’s barbera has a smooth richness to it that is perfect for the upcoming cold winter days. Don’t forget, this wine will age for 5+ years! It’s quickly becoming a cult favorite in the barbera world, check out what the hype is all about.
